About Sephora Brand Colors

Sephora's visual environment is built around black and white as a neutral stage for thousands of cosmetic colors, brands, skin tones, and finishes. Its signature stripes provide recognition through rhythm and geometry rather than a single proprietary hue; recent official applications have paired those stripes with selective red accents. That restraint lets products remain the chromatic focus.

Black and white can unify editorial, retail, and digital layouts, but high contrast does not automatically make every treatment accessible: thin type, glare, motion, and dense striping still need testing. Red should remain an accent and never be the sole indicator of price, stock, shade match, or validation. Store interiors, bags, campaigns, and partner activations require current approved specifications.
