About Adidas Brand Colors
Adidas’s black-and-white reference is visually spare, but the identity behind it is historically layered. The company records that Adi Dassler registered the business and a shoe carrying the 3-Stripes in 1949, introduced the Trefoil in 1972, and later used those systems to distinguish performance and lifestyle expressions across changing products and cultural settings.
The neutral palette keeps emphasis on the geometry and rhythm of the approved marks, while products and campaigns can introduce their own color. That separation is useful in interface design: a stable monochrome identity can sit above variable content without competing with it. It does not mean that any three-stripe construction is an approved Adidas asset or that official lockups may be recreated from this page.
