Verification

How We Verify

Colors Encyclopedia combines deterministic generation with build-time validation. The goal is to make color data stable, inspectable, and reproducible rather than hand-written page by page.

Automated checks

Every production build generates route manifests, API manifests, sitemap partitions, dataset manifests, and audit reports. These resources check route counts, API coverage, sitemap coverage, missing data, build duration, and dataset guardrails.

The same source records power the HTML pages and the JSON APIs, which reduces the risk of mismatched values between the user-facing page and the machine-readable endpoint.

Manual review

Editorial color names, brand references, category narratives, and explanatory pages are reviewed for usefulness, clarity, and overclaiming. Brand color pages are treated as independent technical references, not official brand guidelines.

Known limits

Color perception varies by device, display profile, ambient light, material, and human vision. Accessibility checks are computed against standard contrast formulas and should be tested in the final interface when used for production systems.
