About Uber Brand Colors
Uber’s black-and-white reference illustrates an identity designed to sit above a highly variable service environment: maps, vehicles, city imagery, safety information, product screens, and partner communications. A neutral core can preserve recognition without competing with every route, category, or photograph, while typography, spacing, iconography, motion, and tone do much of the distinguishing work.
Monochrome does not remove the need for rules. Large black fields, white cards, borders, overlays, and disabled controls produce different accessibility outcomes, especially when transparency is involved. Independent interfaces can learn from that restraint, but should use their own product identity; Uber’s official brand site and trademark guidelines remain the sources for approved assets and permitted reference.
This unaffiliated page does not supply Uber artwork, imply a driver, partner, or commercial relationship, grant trademark rights, or replace current brand rules.
