About Porsche Brand Colors

Porsche's crest combines company and place. Created in 1952, it places the rearing horse from Stuttgart's city seal inside a gold shield, surrounded by red-and-black state colors and stylized antlers from Württemberg-Hohenzollern. It first appeared on a steering-wheel hub in 1952, reached the bonnet in 1954, and has evolved through careful refinements rather than replacement.

Gold, red, black, and white cannot reproduce enamel, metal, embossing, historic crests, vehicle finishes, or the latest production badge. The shield is copyright- and trademark-protected geometry, not a palette exercise. Model names, charging or drive status, warnings, and motorsport classifications require their own approved assets and accessible non-color cues.

This independent reference does not reproduce the Porsche crest, authenticate historic badges, certify vehicles or parts, represent a dealer, imply endorsement, or grant commercial permission.
